This interactive exhibit showcases President Wilson's role in promoting modern scientific discovery and innovative technology during his presidency from 1913-1921. Listen to Wilson's speeches on a period telephone, see vintage films of inventions at work, make a speech over a period radio set during the "You Be The President" experience, listen to a Victrola play records of the era, and explore "Decode Wilson" where you can decode a message written in President Wilson's shorthand and discover the hidden message online.
The exhibit will use multimedia content and authentic artifacts to highlight the changes in science and technology through the eyes of the Wilson family while he was president. It will also examine the advances that occurred throughout Wilson's life and describe how these changes influenced the country and continues to do so today.
