As part of the centennial celebration of the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson, the Wilson Library is pleased to present a one-day seminar featuring new research on World War I.  Several World War I scholars will present new research on the conflict. Included among the speakers are Professor Michael Neiberg, U. S. Army War College; Professor Edward Lengel, University of Virginia; Ms. Claudia Covert, Rhode Island School of Design; and Mr. William Walker, Wilson Presidential Library. Topics to be discussed are the outbreak of the war; the American role in the Battle of Belleau Wood; the use of dazzle camouflage in the war at sea; and the attack on the fortified butte of Montfaucon.

The seminar will take place in the Library and Research Center (LARC) at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library & Museum. Registration fee is $10, and box lunches can be reserved for an additional fee of $10. Contact Elizabeth Shortt at 540-885-0897, ext. 113 for more information.
