Digging into the Past?

Do you like to dig? Are you interested in finding out more about the past?  Join us at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library as we learn about the history of the site through archaeology!  Campers will learn different archaeological methods, discover parts of ancient history and find out what we found in our digs.

½ day - $100.00

Full Day (combine with afternoon session) - $175.00

Life in the Trenches

Attention, we want YOU!   Come learn about life in the trenches and on the Homefront during World War I.  Campers will train and discover the roles of the military and the American volunteers who served “over there,” learn to draw propaganda and pick up spy techniques designed during the Great War.

Summer Camp Guidelines

  • Drop off for campers can start 10 minutes prior to camp starting.  Drop off and pick up will take place at the Woodrow Wilson Museum Building, off Coulter Street.

  • Please dress your campers appropriately for movement and general summer camp activities.  Our activities include walking, being inside and outside as well as activities including materials such as dirt and paint.  Please remember to have your camper wear close-toed shoes - Flip Flops are not recommended. • If you have registered for a half day, consider sending a snack for your camper.

  • If your camper has any allergies or special needs, including medical needs, please contact the education department prior to the camp to make our camp educators aware.
