The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library

Visit the Museum

Atop the crest of a hill in historic downtown Staunton is the birthplace of 28th President Woodrow Wilson. This lovely Greek Revival house, formerly the Staunton Presbyterian Manse, is fully restored to 1856 and decorated with period furniture. A National Historic Landmark, the site is not only the birthplace of one of the America's most important leaders, but is also an authentic depiction of a pre-Civil War Shenandoah Valley home. At the Manse are historic gardens, a beautiful restoration of Victorian landscape.
