Robin Wilson von Seldeneck

Robin von Seldeneck was named President and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum July 1, 2015. A passionate history buff, Robin first volunteered at the then Woodrow Wilson Birthplace Foundation as a college student in 1991 when the Museum was being prepared to open for the first time.

Prior to becoming CEO, Robin served as the COO and Director of Finance.Robin has extensive experience in education and management. She served as the Dean of Students at Stuart Hall School where she also taught, and worked in student administration at both Mary Baldwin College, and James Madison University.   Robin also served as an adjunct professor at Blue Ridge Community College for several years.

A native of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, Robin received her undergraduate degree from Mary Baldwin College where she double majored in History and Political Science; and her Master’s in Public Administration from James Madison University.

Robin lives in Staunton with her husband and their two sons. She is an active member of the Shenandoah Valley Kiwanis Club,  and the Augusta Garden Club where she serves on the Board. Robin is a member of the Virginia Association of Museums Governing Council, where she represents museums in the Mountain and Valley District.  She is also on the Advisory Board of Visitors for Mary Baldwin University. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, painting, reading, and hanging out with her super cool dog.
