Sitting atop the crest of a hill in downtown Staunton's Gospel Hill historic district is the birthplace of President Woodrow Wilson. His birthplace, often called the Manse (the home of a Presbyterian minister provided by the church), was the original building on our campus. Through the years, our property has expanded to include the Smith House, the Woodrow Wilson Museum, the Archives & Research Center, and several other support buildings.
