Workshops

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library offers workshops to help your troop earn badges or patches.*

The cost is $15.00 per scout, with every four scouts; one chaperone is required and admitted free. Your workshop fees include admission to the museum, so you can explore after the workshop is complete. Badge workshops must be booked at least two weeks in advance. We do permit tag-a- longs at an additional fee.

Detective Badge (Junior – 1-1.5 hours):  Earn your junior detective badge with us by learning how detectives, secret messages and spying worked during Wilson’s lifetime from the Civil War to World War I.  Learn about coding used by the Zimmerman Telegram, disguises during the wars, fingerprinting styles, how to solve a mystery and more!

*Badges and patches are not included
